About Us
We are the descendants of Albert C. Alexander and Daisy Ann (Maddux) Alexander. Our immediate families are from the Baxter and Putnam County areas in Tennessee.
Our family originally came from Scotland. They went to Ireland next and from there to the New World in Maryland and then on to North Carolina and South Carolina. Then in to Tennessee, Roane County, Fentress County and Putnam County. From Putnam County to Davidson County and beyond.
Hopefully, this web site will allow us to get together online and know a little more about our kith and kin.
Part of the purpose of this site is to show pictures of our ancestors and contemporary family members. If you have photos of family members that you would like to share, please notify me at alexander-photos@mike-alexander.net. I am especially interested in photos of Asberry, his children, and grandchildren but I would very much appreciate photos of any Alexander family member. Please clearly identify everyone in the picture. I will be glad to add them to the web site.
