He was buried in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens, Lebanon, Wilson County, Tennessee. He married Mary Leoma "Aunt Oma" Martin the daughter of Francis Marion Roberts and Amanda Martin. She was born 2 June 1873 in Putnam County, Tennessee and died 3 January 1948 in Wilson County, Tennessee. She was buried in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens, Lebanon, Wilson County, Tennessee.
